Information We Collect

We collect information you provide when you place an order, contact support, join a mailing list, or use account-related store features. This may include your name, email address, shipping address, order items, PayPal order and subscription identifiers, download activity, support messages, and account sign-in information.

We also collect limited technical information such as pages visited, download events, browser or device information, referring links, IP address, and approximate usage timing so we can operate the site, measure product interest, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot problems.

If you use HamNet+, we may process account status, subscription state, paired-computer records, revocation status, transformed-page usage, Chromium-assisted minute usage, pairing attempts, device labels you provide, protocol version, and hashed device or installation identifiers. We do not intentionally store HamNet+ account passwords in the HamNet+ service.

How We Use Information

We use information to process orders, deliver digital downloads, ship physical items, provide receipts, support Digital Wallet and account access, operate HamNet+ subscriptions and device access, send account verification, password recovery, purchase, renewal, and service emails, respond to support requests, improve our products and website, prevent fraud or abuse, and comply with legal or accounting obligations.

Payment Processing

Payments are processed by PayPal. We do not receive or store full credit card numbers. PayPal may collect payment and billing information according to its own privacy policy and terms. We store PayPal order, capture, refund, plan, and subscription identifiers so we can confirm payment, issue receipts, fulfill orders, manage subscriptions, and process eligible refunds.

Service Providers

We may use service providers for hosting, database storage, authentication, email delivery, analytics, payment processing, shipping, and customer support. These providers may process information only as needed to provide their services to us.

Current service providers may include Vercel for website hosting, Supabase for database, authentication, and account infrastructure, Resend for transactional email, Google Analytics for website usage measurement, PayPal for payments and subscriptions, and infrastructure providers used to operate HamNet+.

Digital Downloads And Wallet Access

For digital products, we may store secure download tokens, download counts, download timestamps, IP address, user agent, order records, product identifiers, and account or email ownership records. We use this information to deliver files, enforce download limits, support Digital Wallet access, and help customers recover eligible purchases.

HamNet+ Service Data

HamNet+ is a hosted service that transforms modern web pages into a format intended for classic computers. To operate the service, we may process the URLs or public pages requested, service logs, transformed-page counts, Chromium-assisted minute counts, paired device records, and diagnostic information needed to prevent abuse, maintain service quality, and enforce plan limits.

HamNet+ is not intended for banking, medical portals, sensitive account logins, adult content, malware, or CAPTCHAs. The isolated Mean Hamster activation flow may process an account email, encrypted password entry, activation-session identifier, selected plan, and PayPal subscription identifier. Activation traffic is excluded from normal browsing usage metering.

Retention

We keep order, fulfillment, tax, accounting, and support records for as long as reasonably needed for business, legal, fraud-prevention, and customer-service purposes. You are responsible for keeping local backup copies of downloaded files.

Your Choices

You may contact us to ask for access, correction, or deletion of personal information, subject to legal, accounting, security, and order-fulfillment requirements. Marketing emails, if offered, will include an unsubscribe option.

We do not sell personal information. If that changes, we will update this policy and provide any required choices.

Children

Our site and store are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and delete it where required.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information. No website, database, or networked service can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date above shows when the current version took effect.
