One browser for All The Classics

HamNet

HamNet is a free browser for supported classic computers. It opens plain HTTP sites, ProtoWeb, local help, favorites, history, and cached pages without an account.

HamNet+ is an optional paid service inside the same app. It uses hosted secure rendering to open modern HTTPS and JavaScript pages that old hardware cannot handle alone.

A practical privacy boundary

HamNet+ is intended for public browsing such as search, articles, documentation, and reference pages. Do not use the hosted browser for banking, medical portals, or other sensitive accounts. The special Mean Hamster signup and PayPal approval route is isolated from normal browsing and is not counted as browsing usage.
