Gauntlet II for 5200 Coming Late July
Coming soon: Gauntlet II for 5200!
After a long hiatus, Gauntlet II for Atari 5200 is finally complete. There are a lot of improvements here, including several fixes for things that bugged me about the first one.
New for Gauntlet II
- Smoother scrolling
- New title screen
- More and random levels, with 40+ layouts
- Teleporters and stun tiles
- Better audio and transition effects
- Health closer to the arcade, starting at 2000 and ticking down one health per second
- Better monster generation and chasing
For the first time, Mean Hamster will offer the ROM directly on this site. We are also looking for a partner to create the physical cartridge.
